On today’s Talk of the Nation, NPR host Ira Flatow interviewed Matthew Doude of EcoCAR, which is working on a plug-in hybrid similar to the Chevy Volt.

Flatow asked Doude what would happen if GM wasn’t around in two years, and Doude said he would love to take over production of the Chevy Volt if that occurred.

So, will GM be around in two years?
